Everything else that happened this week was entirely insignificant compared to one monumental event. Chantelle left us.
I have had the honour and privilege of working with Chantelle for over four years and they have flown by. I’ve watched her grow from newbie graduate into a one woman coding machine over that time, and on a personal level she became like family to me.
I always knew that one day she would be pulled away by the flashy lights of AAA development but I’m still very sad to see her go. At the same time of course I’m very happy for her and hope she enjoys the new challenges she will face working in a big studio as part of a large team.
Without her the company will be different. That should go without saying, but the mark she left on Radiation Burn is a permanent one.
I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank her from the bottom of my heart for everything she’s helped put into this company and all the games she helped bring to life.
and finally,
We wish you all the best Chantelle. Knock’em dead!
